Our deep minimal Scandinavian roots lend themselves perfectly to this easy and casual aesthetic. Cozy Mid Century meets Turkish kilim rugs, artisan pottery, vintage flea market treasures.
Gone is the day of glitzy "Look how much money I have!" style and here to stay is buying meaningful pieces from artist and makers. As you probably guessed, Millennials are leading the charge. This is not to say this look is any less expensive, on the contrary it can wrack up quick, but it has an interesting intention behind it that we hope sticks around!
This distinctive look usually incorporates some key design features: light upholstered sofa, sculpted chairs, styled coffee table, unique side tables, kilim or natural rugs and artisan pottery, art, and design books.
This "effortless" look has a true eclectic feel. Warm wood, large scale plants, white walls, natural textures, sheep skins, vintage treasures...not too much of one thing.
