"I want to get out of the rent cycle and I'm sick of my rent always increasing." I rented for one year and never looked back. For the last 6 years I have been living the house hack life buying a multi family property, renovating it, renting out and moving. My husband and I have lived in 3 out of our 5 properties and became hooked on investing with various strategies. I found a love and passion for understanding how homes work, how to add value, renovating them and interior home design. I started in the long term market and quickly found the short term and medium term rental markets exhilarating. We currently have 5 airbnb properties that 3 of them I oversaw the construction from raw land to new construction and fully furnished. I live in the west suburbs now with my husband and dog Nari that we rescued from Secondhand Hounds. My hobbies are traveling to new places, soccer, sand volleyball, road biking, and woodworking/DIY projects. I worked in IT healthcare for 4 years which during the time I bought my first property. As those years went by I asked myself, why am I not in real estate?
